In the Cool of Day

The God who breathed life into the first man and first woman spent time to be with them. But because of original sin our Father of Supreme Perfection, withdrew to Heaven. Still He sent messengers and prophets to tell of God’s love for his children.

For God so loved the world that He ‘sent his Son as expiation of our sins’. (John 4:10) The crucified Christ did not leave us orphaned, as the Holy Spirit descended to be with humanity until the end of time.

Today the Holy Spirit “walks in the garden in the cool of day.” (Gen 3:8) He protects us from the devil and dwells in the hearts of those who believe. “The Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the world.” (Apostles 10:25-26)
